Flathead Industries Production Center and Rag Barn
As part of our work services program, the Production Center and Rag Barn offers a unique combination of options for the more medically, behaviorally, and chronologically challenged adults with developmental disabilities.
The daily work options that are offered at the Production Center include rag cutting, part assembly, paper shredding, badge making, and janitorial work. Much training and teaching is done in pre-vocational skills, in order to improve each individuals’ ability to more independently perform these jobs. Robin Hagadone is the lead staff of this facility and can be reached at 406-755-7656, ext. 248.
The Rag Barn offers similar work options, in a setting just north of Kalispell. The workers in this area may have a greater need for less noise and confusion in their work environment. The Rag Barn is a gifted and renovated space from a family with a son in our services. It is located on Church Drive, five miles north of Kalispell. Cristie Hunt is the lead staff here and may be reached at 406-257-4601.
Michelle Pellett is the Program Manager of these two facilities, with two assistant managers. These facilities are open 8AM – 4:30PM, Monday – Friday. She can be reached at 755-7656, ext. 245.
Customers may order badges, pick up rags and other part assembly jobs at the Production Center, located at 66 4th Ave West N. (on the other side of the tracks at the Center Mall). Tours of either facility may be arranged through the Managers or with the Day Services Director, Susan Bonin. Susan can be reached at 755-7656, ext. 230.
